Minneapolis-Moline Advertising Collectibles!

Moline Plow Co. Inc. was established in 1870. In 1915 they purchased the Universal Tractor Co. and changed their name to Moline Implement Co. in the 1920's.

Minneapolis Threshing Machine Co was established in 1887 and made a Steam Traction Engine by 1888. They began to make tractors in 1910.

Minneapolis Steel & Machinery Co. was established in 1902. They began making the Twin City Tractor in 1908 all the way through 1929.

They started their tractor business with the production of the Twin City models which were carryovers formally built by the Minneapolis Steel & Machinery Company. Production of this tractor continued through 1934 and was followed by many other popular models of tractors - one of the most extensive in the industry at that time.

White Motor Company purchased Minneapolis Moline in 1963. AGCO Tractor purchased White Tractors in 1991.
